Eiko is a modern and versatile font family that is suitable for a variety of uses, from branding to editorial design, web and print. It features high contrast, sharp serifs and precise curves, giving it a perfect balance of softness and strength. It also includes a full set of kana alphabets, a wide range of Japanese punctuations, stylistic sets with circular and square numbers, vertical writing, subscript and superscript numbers, mathematical symbols, meteorological symbols, ligatures, arrows and many alternates. It now also includes a new Educational Set with 81 kanjis. Eiko was inspired by the work of Eiko Ishioka, a multi talented Japanese artist, and seeks to capture the same feel in its typographic explorations. This production is our tribute to her work.
